  • What grade level is this course for?

    The practices, strategies, and mindsets in this course are great for K-12 students!

  • My school has mandated approaches like Restorative Justice or PBIS- should I still take this course?

    Yes! The strategies are designed to work with what your school uses OR help you build your own system. We specifically discuss how to make systems that are problematic or challenging work for YOU.

  • What if I live in an anti-CRT state or area?

    Listen, as far as I’m concerned anti-racist teaching is just good teaching! It's all about messaging. Yes, what you’ll learn is grounded in anti-racism and other asset pedagogies, but you won’t be getting a CRT tattoo or waving a BLM flag in your classroom (unless you want to!). What you will learn are strategies to help your students of color AND white students soar in your classroom. If you don’t feel comfortable disclosing that the course itself is called anti-racist, well, then we can keep that between us!

  • Will this course work if I already started another system?

    This course is ready when you are- if you didn’t start with these practices in August that's ok! You will also have access to come back to this course if, for some reason, you aren’t ready to implement it right away.

  • What type of time commitment is this course?

    With the exclusion of the Live Q&A this course is totally on YOUR schedule. Most teachers are busy and prefer to be able to come to the learning when they’d like. When pre-sale ends, you’ll have access to all the course material right away and you can work as quickly (or slowly) as you’d like! Expect to spend approximately 1 hour per module!
